Education has an important role in the national development. Now, the quality of education needed good teacher, thus, esepacially english teachers must be able to organize teaching-learning activities besides they have to present the material with a suitable method, one of the reasons for failure in teaching is unsuitable method, the eclectic method is one of suitable method of instruction by the teacher in teaching learning process has an important role to improve the students skill, especially in speaking skill. But, it is cannot say that eclectic method is better than the others or one method is worse than the others. A method may be said well if it is used accordingly to what the target of learning. If eclectic method as the target language is used on students achivement in speaking skill. It means the teacher may applies eclectic method when organize teaching activites or chatting to the students. Expected, the students to be active, creative, and understand towards lesson in the classroom, and will get more support to learn. So, with applied this method, in teaching learning process is hoped to interesting. The total number of population of second grade studennts was 286 so the writer used random sampling.</note>
