This research investigates the use of snakes and ladder game technique for increasing students vocabulary mastery. Vocabulary is important and needed by everyone before study four skill english language such as reading, speaking, writing, and listening. Based on writter's experience in the place of research, the writer thinks that students have difficulty in understanding four skills in english language, because of their lack of vocabulary. This experimental research was conducted to help students develop their vocabulary. This experimental research was conducted to help students develop their vocabulary by using snakes and ladders game.</note>
