The research was done based on Syaiful Bakhri Djamarah Opinion's, that mastery of teaching method for the teacher influenced to students achievemnt, that opinion's has given a hypothesis, the hypothesis is there is correlation between instruction methods used in english teaching at class two of junior high school 5 Serang, as X variable and the students achivement as Y variable. This research use explorative and descriptive method, with the purposes: to give information about the correlation of method is used in english teaching at class two of SLTPN 5 Serang Academic Year 2001-2002, and to give information about the students achivement and to explain about the correlation both of them. The technique was used such as literature techinique, observation, interview, checking documentation and questionnare technique to clollect data. The result is explained by logical principle, it is shape paragraph information for qualitative data and quantitative data was processed by Product Moment Correlation Formula.</note>
