This research investigates the use of STAD in reading lesson, specifically it is written in the tittle of this research paper that is Üsing STAD to improve reading comprehension on recount text at the second grade of MTS AL-Khairiyah Rancaranji&#34;The research is condicted based on the statement problems: 1) how is the implementation STAD in learning recount text? 2) Is there any influence of STAD to improve reading comprehension? according to research problems the objectives are. 1) to identify students reading comprehension on using recount text. 2) to identify there is any influence of STAD to improve reading comprehension. To answer the questions, the writer collected data from 88 students in two classes, one class as the experimental class.</note>
