The Effect of Using Wordwall.net in Increasing Student English Vocabulary Mastery (Quasi Experiment to Grade X Student of SMAN 6 Pandeglang)

This study investigates the effectiveness of Wordwall.net in increasing students’ English vocabulary mastery. A quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design was employed. The sample were 70 tenth-grade students of SMAN 6 Pandeglang in the 2025/2026 academic year. Data were collected through pre-tests and post-tests. The results showed that the experimental group achieved higher post-test scores than the control group. Statistical analysis revealed that the t- observed value was higher than the t-table value at both 5% and 1% significance levels, indicating a significant difference between the two groups. Observational data also showed that students were more motivated and actively engaged in learning vocabulary using Wordwall.net. Therefore, Wordwall.net is an effective medium for teaching English vocabulary.
