<note>This study aims to investigate the implementation of gamification strategies using picture puzzles in teaching English speaking skills and to explore students’ perceptions on the use of Gamification Strategy with picture puzzle in English speaking classroom. This study employs a qualitative design, using multiple instruments including observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the implementation of gamification unfolds in four main stages: preparation, introduction and rules explanation, main activity, and reflection and feedback. During these stages, students actively engage with the learning media, collaborate effectively in groups, and enhance their speaking skills through narrative storytelling using picture puzzles. Regarding students’ perceptions, they expressed an increased motivation and enjoyment of learning, increased confidence and fluency in speaking, improved vocabulary and pronunciation, enhanced story comprehension through visual support, enjoyed collaboration through social interaction, despite some challenges they encountered, they were willing to reuse this method. In conclusion, using gamification with picture puzzles is effective in fostering student engagement, improving speaking skills, and promoting collaborative learning in English language classrooms. The gamification approach not only makes learning more enjoyable but also supports meaningful language acquisition.</note>
