<note>This study aims to determine the significant difference in speaking confidence between students who are given mini-vlog assignments and those who are not. Therefore, the researcher used the quasi-experimental research method to compare the mean scores of two different classes. As the sample, this study involved 58 students from grade 10 at MAN 4 Tangerang. 27 students from class X.4 as the experimental class and 31 students from class X.2 as the control class. As for data collection, the researcher used a pre-test and a post-test. And the results show that there is a significant difference in confidence in speaking between students who are given mini-vlog assignments and those who are not. This is evidenced by the results of both manual calculations, where the t-observed value obtained is 3.092 while the t-table is 1.673 (t-observed>t-table) and the results of calculations using SPSS software, which shows that the significance value obtained is 0.003, which is less than the value of the significance level of 0.05. From these results, it can be confirmed that the null hypothesis in this study is rejected and the alternative hypothesis is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in confidence in speaking between students who are given mini-vlog assignments and those who are not.</note>
