The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The participants in this research were the eighth-grade students of the academic year 2024/2025, consisting of 32 students. The data were collected through observation, interviews with English teachers and students, and documentation. The implementation of short story movies in teaching listening was carried out by showing short narrative films followed by discussion and listening comprehension tasks. The students were engaged in watching, identifying keywords, and answering questions related to the story. Based on the findings, the use of short story movies was found to be effective in improving students' listening comprehension. The students showed positive responses, increased attention, and improved understanding of spoken texts.
