<note>This study aims to find out the students’ errors in organizing descriptive text and cause why the students make errors in organizing descriptive text in the seventh grade of SMPN 1 Kaduhejo. Pandeglang. This research used qualitative research. The subjects in this study were English teacher and students of Seventh Grade Of Smp 1 Kaduhejo. The object and specificity of this research has led to the teacher's strategy in teaching writing. Data collection methods used in this study include checklist observation method and interviews. The results of this study shows that many students still make errors in creating descriptive texts, aslike error is in tenses, and vocabulary, and “verbs inflection of present tense marker, this happened because and most all of the students’ still find it difficult to understand the material about writing and the reason was almost the same, because they lack of the vocabulary and confused in presenting words on writing, they assumed that memorize the vocabulary is so difficult, and also to select the word in present sequence sentence, which include formation writing.</note>
