<note>This study investigates the Improvement of Students' Speaking Ability Through English Dialogue. This study seeks to find out whether teaching speaking through English dialogue can improve and effectively students' speaking ability. This study uses a one group pre-test and post-test design and quantitative research methods. The instruments used in this study were tests (pre-test and post-test). This study involved 26 students as samples among the eighth grade C of SMP Miftahul Ulum as the population. The findings of the study from the final showed that there are improvement &#34;t,&#34; which was higher than t table both at the 5% and 1% significance levels. The significance of 5% t table = 1.708 and t-count (5.736) &#62; t-table (1.708), while the significance of 1% t table 2.485 and t-count (5.736) &#62; t-table (2.485). shows the effectiveness of English dialogue. The results of this study indicate that students are more motivated in learning English, especially in speaking subjects. Based on the results above, it can be concluded that English conversation activities can improve students' speaking ability. In addition the results of this study indicate that students who go through English conversation achieve better performance in improving their speaking ability than those who do not go through English dialogue activities.</note>
