The Analyses of Students’ Need of Vocational School in Writing Procedure Text Based on SAMR Framework
This research revealed the anlaysis of students’ need in writing procedure text of vocational school students’ based on SAMR framework. In this study, the major objectivity was to discover what is the students’ needs and also how the teacher implement the SAMR framework in teaching procedure text. The researcher applied the use of sequential explanatory design, mixed method. In which both quantitative and qualitative data are combined to deeply comprehend findings. The sample chosen purposively in number of 30 students and also a teacher in SMKN 4 Kabupaten 4. The result in quantitative aspect, in which there are three main domains, material needs of writing procedure text in which the total score was 369 or 82%. The second, about prcess of writing procedure text needs in which 862 or 82,1% . The aspect was about how the SAMR framework implemented by the teachers’ respond, the total score was 381 or 85,6%. These data was also supported by the qualitative data in thematic views on three aspects domain of needs; material, the process of writing, and also the implementation of SAMR framework. This research has an implication on providing contextual material for vocational school and also how to manage technology in the process of writing procedure text for vocational students’.
