<note>The main objective of this study is to detemine focus on vocabulary mastery. The problem currently occurring is that there are still many students who have low language skills especially lack of vocabulary. The research used is quantitative research, Researcher process data using statistical data collection, which is related to quasi-experimental design with Pre-Test and Post-Test, observation as data collection instruments. Researcher used T-Test calculation analysis with SPSS. The research results showed that there was a significant increase in vocabulary acquisition for students who used cartoon videos as learning media. Based on the research results, researcher obtained an average pre-test score of 70,00 and a post-test score of 88,00 in the experimental class. Meanwhile, the average pre-test score was 63.8667 and the post-test score was 82.5333 in the control class,o n the results of making the hypothesis, it is shown in the results of the significant U test that p is (0.000), with a significance value of (0.05 or 5%) or (0.000 &#60; 0.05). It can be concluded that if the probability value is smaller than 0.05 then the hypothesis is accepted or Ha is accepted. This means that the use of cartoon video media to improve vocabulary mastery of class VII students is effective or refers to the results, namely that between the experimental class and the control class there is a significant difference.</note>
