<note>This study aims to identify the effectiveness of literature circle Strategy on the writing skill of tenth grade students of MAN 1 Kota Serang. The method in this research is quasi-experimental research. The population of this study were tenth grade students. The sample consisted of two classes, namely class X.1 as the experimental group and X.3 as the control group. Each group consisted of 38 students. This research was conducted through the following stages: observation pra-research, pre-test, treatment, and post-test. Data were obtained by performance tests. The implementation of this literature circle strategy divides students into small groups of 5-6 people to discuss a text. Students read the text first individually and write into the literature circle role sheet about what is obtained according to their respective roles then discuss in groups and present. Based on the test results, there is an effect on the use of literature circle strategy with a t-count> table or 4.399 > 1.66462, thus showing Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. It is significant based on the percent of reading comprehension of class tenth students of MAN 1 Kota Serang by the effect size of writing skill of tenth grade students of MAN 1 Kota Serang, which is 1.133, which means it is concluded that in the value of 0.8 ≤ 1.133 ≥ 2.0, it can be concluded that Literature Circle Strategy has a high effect size.</note>
