The research employed Stephen C. Levinson’s theory and utilized a descriptive qualitative method with a content analysis approach. The findings revealed that the data were classified into five types of deixis: personal, spatial, temporal, discourse, and social deixis. The researcher found 488 deixis with 277 (61.8%) of personal deixis, 37 (8.3%) of spatial deixis, 26 (5.8%) of temporal deixis, 85 (19%) of discourse deixis, and 23 (5.1%) of social deixis. Based on the data that have been analyzed, the dominant reference of deixis in person deixis. The results showed that each deixis has different references based on the context of their use in the speech.
