<note>The increasing use of digital technologies has had a big impact on how English teaching learning especially for learning reading comprehension. IWB one of digital media that is necessary for using while teaching learning. IWB produce a pictures, voice, colour, it is makes a new environment to the classroom. This mixed-method study intends to assess the students’ interest and influential to uses IWB in teaching reading, as well as to pinpoint any tech-related issues and digital media employed in English teaching learning. 58 students from first grade of SMK Pelayaran Nusantara Serang City who participated in the study's experiment -based research were interviewed with an English teacher and five students of first grade. Based on the result of statistical analysis, the average score of students’ interest in learning reading after using IWB digital media was 52.10. Also students’ reading proficiency after utilizing digital content from the IWB averaged 22.28. However, the interviewees acknowledged that using IWB digital media for teaching reading helped them to understand the text. For communication, information-seeking, and support during the teaching learning process, they made use of a variety of tools and platforms in IWB can connect to internet, social media, grammar checks, and etc. Overall, the results emphasize the significance of addressing technology-related issues and providing sufficient help and resources to enhance teaching reading processes.</note>
