<note>Public speaking is public speaking which is very important for everyone to master. to be mastered by everyone. Public speaking skills are needed by humans. This study aims. First to explain how are the teacher teaching speaking skills in muhadhoroh activities at the Nasyrul Ulum Cilegon Islamic Boarding School and the student perception This study used a descriptive qualitative approach of ethnographic research type. T he research subjects consisted of boarding school leade rs, language coaches, public speaking activity supervisors, and students. Data collection used is using observation, interview, documentation and triangulation methods. The techniques used in data analysis are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Triangulation used to test the validity of the data is triangul ation of sources and techniques. The results of this study, namely, it was found that the public speaking activity carried out at the Nasyrul Ulum Islamic Boarding School Tegal Bunder, Purwakarta, Kota. Cilegon. The public speaking activity which is carried out regularly once a week on Friday nights at 20.30 to 22.00. T he activities are not only speeches, and use rules but also a series of events such as MC, Four Language Speech, Summary, Reading Poetry, Story Telling, and closed with drama performance. Second the perception of students about public speaking activity, on average, new students still feel burdened by this activity, almost every week they have task, and it must be memorized. Over time, the students began to be interested in public speaking, so that when the students got the public speaking activity assignment, the students were very happy because there the students could learn from the start of preparation, namely making texts and students began to explore speaking skills through this activity.</note>
