<note>This research investigates the effectiveness of the Busuu Application in improving the listening skills of seventh-grade students at SMPN 3 Solear Tangerang. Employing a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, the study utilized a non-equivalent control group design. The population comprised 64 students from Class VIII at SMPN 3 Solear Tangerang, divided into two groups, VIII A as the experimental group and VIII B as the control group. Data collection involved pre-tests, treatment, and post-tests. Statistical analysis using SPSS 2023 was applied to evaluate the impact of the Busuu Application on students' listening skills. The pre-test results showed an average score of 57.81 in the experimental group compared to 52.19 in the control group. In the post-test, the experimental group achieved an average score of 68.75, while the control group scored an average of 56.72. The effect interpretation based on these results indicates a significant improvement of 21% in students' listening skills. In conclusion, there is a notable enhancement in listening skills among students in Class VIII A, who utilized the Busuu Application, compared to their counterparts in Class VIII B, who did not. This study recommends the integration of the Busuu Application as an alternative tool in English learning activities, particularly for listening comprehension exercises.</note>
