<note>This study aims to describe the statement problem as follows: 1). What are types of inflection used in the Passages on English Textbook &#34;Bahasa Inggris: Work in Progress Kelas X”?. 2). How are the inflections used in the Passages on English Textbook &#34;Bahasa Inggris: Work in Progress Kelas X”?. This research used qualitative Method with content analysis approach. The researcher found 256 words of inflection in the 6 passages in the English textbook &#34;Bahasa Inggris: Work in Progress&#34;. All kinds of inflection are found -s plural, -s third singular person, -'s possessive , -ing progressive, -ed past tense, -en past participle”, -er comparative, and -est superlative. 121 words or , 47,27% categorized into plural inflection. 59 words or 23,05% categorized into past tense inflection. 29 words or 11,33% categorized into third-person singular inflevtion. 16 words or 6,25% categorized into possessive inflection. 10 words or 3,91% categorized into comparative inflection. 9 words or 3,52% categorized into present progressive inflection. 8 words or 3,13% categorized into past participle inflection. 4 words or 1,56% categorized into superlative degree inflection. The dominant inflection used in the passages is plural inflection, specifically -s affixes.</note>
