<note>This study investigates to what extent the implementation of the estafet writing method contribute to the improvement of students’ narrative writing. This study used experimental research by conducting observation, pre-test, treatment, and post-test. One class was the experimental class with 21 students’ and another class was the control class with 16 students’ of MTs Al-Ihsan Serang. The results of statistical calculations that have been carried out shows that there is less effective contribution of estafet writing method in improving students' writing narrative text at MTs Al-Ihsan Serang. This can be seen from the t-test result (0.5) which is lower than the significant level. The percentage of the effect of estafet writing method in improving students' writing narrative text is at the Low level. It can be from the size effect got the result 54% or low criteria.</note>
