<note>This study aims to determine the correlation between students‟ grammar mastery and their speaking ability at the eleventh grade of SMKN 1 Serang city. The research method used is the correlational method. Samples were taken as many as 45 students taken from 303 students. Data collection is done with grammar mastery test and oral test directly to the sample. Data analysis used descriptive statistics such as looking for mean, median, mode, standard deviation, and inferential statistics. Based on the data description of grammar mastery, it is found that the score is medium level. It is indicated by the average score of the grammar mastery of the eleventh grade of SMKN 1 Serang City obtained from 45 respondents had an average of 71,67. Based on the data description of speaking ability of the eleventh grade of SMKN 1 Kota Serang commonly in medium level, it was obtained from 45 respondents had an average of 75.09. There is a significant correlation between students‟ grammar mastery and their speaking ability of SMKN 1 Serang City. This is indicated by the value of correlation coefficient is r0 = 0.440&#62; rt = 0.301 and tcount = 3.219 &#62; ttable = 2.0167. In addition, the students‟ grammar mastery contributes 19.3% (0.193) to the overall variation observed in their speaking skills. Intriguingly, the remaining 80.7% of the variance, not specifically addressed in this research, is attributed to other variables such as vocabulary mastery, fluency, comprehension, confidence, teaching methods, and various other elements that were not explicitly examined in this study.</note>
