This research entitled “The Sundanese Banten Dialect Interference In English Consonants Mispronunciation For EFL Learners” (A Case Study of Students in English Education Department The State Islamic University of Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten). The diversity of languages in Indonesia is due to the ability of Indonesians to master a variety of languages or multilingual. The Bantenese society is an example of a multilingual society that is able to learn many languages. This condition gives rise to the phenomenon of language interference as occurs in Sundanese Banten dialect students when speaking in English. This study aims to find out the interference process that occurs when they speak in English. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method to find and analyze the interference process of Sundanese Banten dialect students in the English Education Department State Islamic university of sultan maulana Hesamuddin Banten when they speak English. Data collection using questionnaires and English text is disseminated through google form and then the data and student recordings are used as primary data and then analyzed and described the process and classification of interference. After going through a series of analyses, several intermittent letters were found such as [ð] changed to [d], [ʤ] to [g], [v] to [f], [z] to [s] and [r], we also found the interference such as Lenition, Fornition, Syncope, Apocope, Epenthesis, and Paragogue interference. Interference can happen to anyone who speaks more than one language, this should not be a big challenge if they are still in the process of learning.
