<note>The study aims to improve action verbs Understanding on procedure text through &#34;word wall&#34; media on IX grade of SMPN 3 Tanjung Batu in academic year 2022/2023. The research questions are can word wall media improve the action verbs Understanding in procedure text on 9th grade of SMPN 3 Tanjung Batu or not? And What are the difficulties that are encountered by the ninth-grade students of SMPN 3 Tanjung Batu before being taught using the media? The target population of this research is the ninth-grade students of SMP N 3 Tanjung Batu consisting 21 students and 11 males and 10 females. This research is using pre-experimental, one group pre-test post-test design. In pre-experimental research, the instruments used in this study were Pre test and Post test and the research subjects were students of SMP Negeri 3 Tanjung Batu. The results of the pre-test and post-test were analyzed using the SPSS V.26 application and it was found that there is a significant influence of using word walls toward students' action verbs on procedure text verbs at ninth grade of SMP Negeri 3 Tanjung Batu. Posttest results showed an increase after treatment, the difference is seen in the pre-test score of 10.5 and 15.00 post-test. This shows an increase in the average score of student acquisition after being given treatment using word wall media with an average score difference of 4.95 and an average standard deviation of 1.431 with a significance of 0.00. Based on the provisions of drawing conclusions that have been determined that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted because the significance is ˂ of 0.05 which means that there is a significant influence of using word wall on students' action verbs on procedure text in the ninth grade of SMP Negeri 3 Tanjung Batu.</note>
