<note>This research investigates the effect of predicting-activity-and-confirming-activity (PACA) strategy towards students’ reading comprehension on narrative text. This research objective is to find out any significant effect of PACA strategy towards students’ reading comprehension on narrative text. This researcher uses experimental research in which there are two group pre-test and post-test design. The researcher collects data from 48 students spread in two classes, one class as experimental class and other one as the control class. The population was the tenth grade of MA Al-Fathaniyah Kota Serang, XA as Experimental Class and XB as Control Class are taken as sample. The result of the research shows that hypothesis that of test of both sample t-table with 5% significance level found ttable = 1.67 and with 1% significance level found > ttable = 2.41. It can be known the result is 5% < to, or to > tt %. It means that tobservation is higher than ttable. The result of tt on significance 5% = 1.67 and 1% = 2.41. It indicates that tobservation = 3.87 > ttable = 1.67 (5%) and tobservation = 3.87 > ttable = 2.41 (1%). Therefore, it can be concluded that the null hypothesis (Ho) are rejected and (Ha) is accepted.</note>
