<note>The research explores “Teacher's Strategy for Overcoming Students' Anxiety in Speaking English at SMP Alwildan Islamic School 1 - Gading Serpong, Tangerang District.&#34; The statement of the problems is: (1) How to overcome students' anxiety in speaking English at school? Based on the prior statement, the researcher formulates the aims of the study; (1) To observe teachers’ strategies for overcoming students' anxiety in speaking English. The results of the study show that the first teacher and the second teacher have the same strategy to overcome students' speaking anxiety when outside the classroom, namely English Day and Examination Authority. To overcome students' speaking anxiety when in class, the teacher first used role play, presentation, hot sheet game, and class rule strategies as supporting strategies. While the second teacher used role play strategies, conversation card games, and the learnhip.com website as supporting strategies.</note>
