Analysis of Islamic Values in The English Lesson 6 Textbook Published by Darussalam Press

This research was conducted to analysis the Islamic values and how they
were contained in the textbok. In this case, Islamic values were limited into
the values of Aqidah, the values of Ibadah, and the values of Akhlak, which
contained in English Lesson 6 textbook for the sixth grade of Islamic
Boarding School. The method of this research is content analysis. The
textbook as primary source of the research isntrument by reading and
understanding the references which support this research. The result of this
research showed that the most found ìn the English Lesson 6 textbook is the
value of Akhlak, which reached eighteen values, and the value of Aqidah are
found twelve values, and unfortunately, the value of Ibadah was not found.
Besides, the researcher found four ways of the Islamic values contained in
the English Lesson 6 textbooks, namely: title of chapter, reading passage,
pictures, and exercises. In the title of chapters were found three little
chapters, in the reading passages were found five reading passages, in the
pictures were found four pictures, and the last in the exercises were found
fourteen exercises.
