<note>This study aims to reveal the teacher's strategy in writing skills in class Tenth MAN 2 Kab. Serang. The constraints experienced by the teacher in learning to write have been explained. This research uses case studies. The subjects in this study were English teachers who taught English in class Tenth. The object and specificity of this research has led to the teacher's strategy in teaching writing. Data collection methods used in this study include checklist observation methods, interviews. The results of this study indicate that there are several things that stand out related to the issues raised, namely; Related to the teaching and learning process the teacher uses several teaching strategies, namely strategies using games, small group discussions and brainstorming. Obstacles experienced in learning to write include keeping students from being afraid to ask questions, motivating students to imagine something that will become their reference in writing either in the form of texts or scientific research.</note>
