<note>The aim of this research is to find out significant effect of using repeated reading strategy toward students’ reading comprehension in the narrative text at VIII Grade of SMP Citra Islami Tangerang. This research used a quantitative method. The participants ofthis research were 60 students that spared into two classes, one classes as experiment class 30 students and another one spared is as the control class 30 students. The researcher used quasi experiment design with use the instrument were three stages are pre-test, treatment and post-test. The result of this research show that the students in reading comprehension who used repeated reading strategy achieved better than those who does not use repeated reading strategy. The result of the data analysis shows that hypothesis compared with t-table is bigger than . = 9,55 &#62; = 2,39 (1%) or = 9,55 &#62; = 1,67 (5%), so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The effect of using repeated reading strategy toward students’ reading comprehension is 61% , while the strong effect category.</note>
