An Implementation of Digital Picture Series in Teaching Narrative Text (A Case Study at SMP Satap Pasir Menteng)


This study aims to analyze how the process of implementing digital picture series on learning about narrative text. This study uses qualitative methods and the approach of this study is a case study. The instruments used in this research are observation, assignment, interview and documentation. Based on the research results, there are many strength and weakness of using digital picture series in learning about narrative text. The strength is (1) students are more active in classroom (2) student more confident in writing (3) the process of teaching and learning more interesting (4) student more creative (5) student faster in understanding materials. For the waeknes is (1) teacher gives too much clue (2) teacher help students too much in vocabularies (3) lack in vocabularies. Besides that the implementation of digital picture series in teaching narrative text is necessary in learning and teaching.
