<note>This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of using picture from Canva application in improving students’ writing skills. The method of research used is quantitative research which is quasi experimental research design by applying pre-test and post-test. This research involves 60 students as a sample among the tenth grade of SMK Nurul Huda as a population and is divide into experimental and control classes. The research finding shows that the t-test is higher than the t-table with a significance level of 5%, t-test 9,34 &#62; t-table 1,67, this shows that Ho rejected and Ha accepted. Then, to determine the statistically significant improvement of the post-test results of the two groups were compared using analysis of variance (ANOVA). The findings shows that there is a statistically significant variation in the writing skills of those who use Canva and those who do not, which confirmed the positive effect of Canva in improving students’ writing skills. The result of this research shows that student who use canva application achieve better performance in improving their writing skill than those who do not use canva application.</note>
