<note>This study aims at improving students' speaking skills by using the TBL method. This research used a CAR (Classroom Action Research) method. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets and tests. Observation sheets are shown to teachers and students with the help of observers from partner teachers. The Subject of research were students at grade 8th , the class 8G of SMPN 29 Kota Tangerang, the academic year 2021/2022. The results of this study before the cycle the average score of students was 61.9 or 26.47% in the KKM, in cycle 1 after the implementation of TBL the average score of students increased to 69.9 or 47.05% success, which means that it cannot be said to be successful. , then in cycle 2 the average score of students increased significantly to 80.32 or 82.35% success, which means it can be said to be successful so the cycle can be stopped. Based on the explanation of the results above, it can be stated that the learning method using TBL can significantly improve children's speaking skills and is better than the previous method.</note>
