xv + 103 hlm.; 18 x 25 cm The purpose of this study was to provide English-speaking materials for students in the seventh grade at SMP Negeri 1 Pontang. This research made use of R & D. The materials were designed using the ADDIE model by Robert Mariban. Need analysis, design, development, implementation, and assessment are the five stages covered. The materials are intended to improve speaking ability. The focus of the research was on generating speaking materials for the first and second semesters. Experts then validated the materials that had been developed. The product had been validated by two experts. First, there is a material expert, and then there is a media expert. After the product had been validated, the researcher tried it out to see how it performed. Later, the materials were used in the classroom to teach speaking. The materials were changed based on expert advice and the outcomes of the trials. The researcher created the final product of speaking materials for the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Pontang after revising and using the product.
