<note>This study aimed to find out students’ pronunciation ability and to know the effect of English Sound Application as a media in English pronunciation learning process. The formulated problems of this study were: (1) How is the student's pronunciation ability in the second year of MTs Mathla'ul Huda Boarding school? (2) How is the effectiveness of English sound application to improve students’ pronunciation in the second year of MTs Mathla'ul Huda Boarding school?. This research was conducted through experimental research. The type of research was specifically a quasi-experiment. The participants of this study were twenty (20) from experimental class and twenty (20) from control class, so the total is forty (40) at the second grade of MTs Mathla'ul Huda. Pre-test and post-test were used to collect the data. The result shows that student's pronunciation at the second class of MTs Mathla'ul Huda still below the standard. Many of them still confused how to pronounce English words correctly. However, the teachers need some media to assist in learning pronunciatin, because learning pronunciation was not easy. Nevertheless, there was a significant enhancement in pronunciation at experimental class after the treatment. Although there was enhancement at control class, but it not as much as experimental class. It appoints that English Sound Application acceptable and good to be a learning media in improving students' pronunciation.</note>
