<note>This research is conducted on the research question : 1) How is the application of teaching learning writing descriptive text through animal images in ELT? 2) How is the effectiveness of animal images in students descriptive text writing skill? The method used in this research is quasiexperiment. The population of this research is students islamic boarding Al-Mubarok Serang the total population are 60 students. There research conducted in the eight grade of Al-Mubarok Islamic Boarding School as the population and class VIII A consist of 30 students as experimental class and VIII B consist of 30 control class are taken as the sample. The result of the research shows that using fairy animal images has significant difference on students writing. It can be seen from the result that researcher has got the mean of the pre-test 42 and post-test score 77,6 from the experimental class and the pre-test score is 35,1 and post-test 55,4 from the control class. The writer got tha to (t observation) is higher than tt (t table). The result of tt on significant 5% = 2.00 and 1%= 2,65. It indicates that to &#62; tt or 55,5 &#62;2.00 and 5.5 &#62; 2,65 so the null hypothesis ( Ho) are rejected and the alternatif hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. It means there are significant difference between pre-test and post-test of using animal images.</note>
