<note>Writing is one of the language skills that should be tought besides the other skills. Basaed on the curriculum of junior high school recommended by the government, there are some text which have to be mastered by the students’ at junior high school. One of the text is descriptive text. Descriptive text is the text which describes something, someone, situation, and etc. or write about the way person, places, or things appear. In learning descriptive text, students’ may have difficulties in learning it. Students’ may be confused what to write although they know the topic which has been given by the teacher. Therefore, in this study, the writer will try to apply Wordwebbing Technique. This model is expected to overcome the problem that occurs in the field. In this study, the researcher aimed to find out the students perception in using word webbing in teaching writing skill that relation to improve Writing skill and describe the students' improvement of Writing practice in the english lesson at MTsN 1 Kota Tangerang. The researcher took 20 students who have joined to finished this study as the participant of this research. The research applied descriptive qualitative method. The data collecting procedures are questionnaire by text form and documentation of photo of student word and lesson plan. The result of this study showed that 78,9% students have positive and good perception toward out the students perception in using word webbing in teaching writing skill that relation to improve Writing skill and describe the students' improvement of Writing practice. In addition, the students mean in the test 1 is 74.37 and the mean of test 2 is 79.45. The rate of the improvement from the test 1 to the test 2 is 5,08. It means there are improvements of all aspect in writing skill. It can be concluded that the students had positive responses of the word webbing and it can improve students’ Writing skill at MTsN 1 Kota Tangerang.</note>
