<note>This research focuses on the project assessment for students’ writing skill at eleven grade of MAN 3 Tangerang in the academic year 2021/2022. The scope of the research is divided into some points: (1) the teacher implement the project assessment on students writing skill at the eleven grade of MAN 3 Tangerang; (2) the instrument used in the project assessment for students writing skill. The researcher used a descriptive qualitative method. It has a purpose to obtain the complete data and comprehensive description. The techniques of data collection are interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study are: English teachers have implemented an assessment of students' writing skills through the skills aspect. the steps in implementing the project appraisal are; (1) conveying the assessment rubric before the implementation of the activity to students (2) providing understanding to students, (3) conveying to students, (4) providing the same understanding to students about the tasks that must be done. And the instruments used are analytic rubric. Overall, English teachers know how to apply the skills written based on the 2013 Curriculum.</note>
