<note>This study aims to obtain empirical evidence from the distribution of higher-order thinking skills based on the revised edition of Bloom's taxonomy on essay question questions in reading exercises in the student’s worksheet used for the eleventh grade of senior high school students. The writer uses the content analysis method because the writer identifies the specific characters of the material in the worksheet. This research uses qualitative data because the data is in the form of words. The object of this study was the reading essay exercise in the student’s worksheet for the eleventh grade of senior high school students. Data was collected through several instruments, namely the student’s worksheet, analysis card, and checklist table. The results showed that the higher-order thinking skills in the student’s worksheet obtained 4 out of 71 questions on reading essay practice questions (5.6%) while the lower-order thinking skills obtained 67 of 71 reading essay question questions (94.4%). Then, the ratio of the higher-order thinking skill to the lower-order thinking looks far enough, 1:16.8. The results of the distribution of higher-order thinking skills are: analyze skills get 2 of 71 essay question questions in reading practice (2.8%), evaluating skills get the sama result, 2 of 71 essay question questions in reading practice (2.8%) create skills do not get a higher-order thinking skill distribution (0%). It can be concluded that the distribution of higher-order thinking skills is lower than lower-order thinking skills.</note>
