21,5cm, 28cm, 49 hlm This research investigated the correlation between students Perception of joining English club and their speaking ability. This research involves 20 students of English club member. This research used correlation research in the quantitative method. The instruments used in this research were the questionnaire and the test. It used the Pearson Product Moment to analyzing the correlation and count the coefficient of correlation between variables. The research finding the “tcount “ that the writer got from the calculation is smaller than the table at significance level 5%. tcount = 1,079 and ttable = 1,734. So, the result of the research is there is weak correlation between student's perception of joining English club and their speaking ability. As a contribution in variable X to variable Y is 6,07%.
