All participant can express their idea on their social media facebook account. applying social media facebook is the activity most often done to develope their writing. writing is importantly needed for the participnat to allow them to communicate with others, especially for Non English Education students’. Applying social media facebook is one type of media that utilizes authentic material as a media for learning English, especially in writing. This research aims to know the apply of social media facebook in writing activities. This research used qualitative method, the instrument used in this research was document analysis and interview. The participants of this research was students from Non English Education Department of Faculty Education and Teacher Training State Islamic University Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten.
