The researcher used instrument the rubric assessment from BSNP (Bandan Standar Nasional Pendidikan. The rubric (BNSP) chosen is because it is usually used as a standardization of the textbook used in curriculum 2013. The result of this anaysis is overall having 74% as the percentage of feasibility of content and for feasibility of presentation as the percentage 66.67 % in the “Bahasa Inggris” textbook is still acceptable to use by the school because it is still qualified more than a half of criteria compiled in curriculum 2013 specifically in terms feasibility of content. In overall, the textbook is suitable to be used by teacher to teach speaking for first grade of junior high school.
