<note>This research investigates the students’ difficulties in translating English text into Bahasa Indonesia. It is aimed to find out about the difficulties experienced by students during the translating process, the causes students’ difficulties in translating the text, and the solution students’ difficulties in translating the text. 10 English Education students were taken as the participants of the study. This research used a case study method. The instruments of this research used documentation and interview. The results of this research showed that students’ difficulties in translating English text into Indonesian were grammatical (29,6%) in singular/plural form, and aspect, lexical (16,7%) in various meaning, and differential-non-differential, stylistic (3,6%) in variations language relatively temporary. In addition, students get difficulty in synonym-antonym, metaphor, idiom, and figurative language. The factors that caused the difficulties in translating English text into Indonesian were lack of knowledge, limited the vocabulary, do not understand grammatical rules and context, and less read English textbooks. The students solve to their difficulties by using an online dictionary, read more English textbooks, increasing and memorizing vocabulary, listening to music, and consultation with lecturers.</note>
