<note>This study is about The Influence of Write-Pair-Share on Students’ Descriptive Text Writing (An Experimental Research at the Second Grade of SMPN 10 Kota Serang). The research is conducted based on the statements of problem, 1) How is the students’ writing ability on descriptive text at the Eight Grade of Junior High School? 2) How is the write-pair-share applied in teaching descriptive text at the Eight Grade of Junior High School? 3) How is the influence of write-pair-share on the students’ descriptive text writing ability? Referring to the statement of problems, the aim of the research are 1) To explore the students’ writing ability on descriptive text at the Eight grade of Junior High School. 2) To explore the write-pair-share applied in teaching descriptive text at the Eight Grade of Junior High School. 3) To explore the influence of write-pair-share on the students’ descriptive text writing ability. In conducting the research, the researcher takes the second grade students of SMPN 10 Kota Serang, as the population. The research methodology in this research is an experimental research, which is conducted only one experimental class. As a sample of this research are 33students of VIII E, which taught by using write-pair-share strategy. The instruments used to collect the data is test, the test is used to know students’ achievement before and after experiment run. There are two kinds of test, they are pre-test and post-test. After the data from pre-test and post-test of experiment class was analyzed, the researcher conclude that write-pair-share strategy is influence towards students’ writing. In fact, the result of t0 (t observation) is bigger than tt (t table) 1.694&#60; 5,503&#62; 2.449. According to the data, t0 is 5,503 at degree of significance 5% is 1,694 and at degree of significance 1% is 2.449. So, the null hypothesis (μ1 = μ2) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (μ1 ≠ μ2) is accepted.</note>
