<note>The aims of this research were to find out the students’ perception on game as a tool to develop speaking skills and to know the most preferred games by students’ to develop speaking skills. The formulated problems of this study were: (1) What are students’ perceptions on game as a tool to develop speaking skills? And (2) Which games the most preferred by students’ to develop speaking skills?. This research was conducted through quantitative research and the design is survey study. The participants of this research were 63 students. They are from different Junior High School of Pulomerak Sub-District in Cilegon City. The instruments used in this study were questionnaire and interview. The result of this study showed that the students’ perception on games as a tool to develop speaking skills was positive. These finding were supported by the data from questionnaire where the students gave (51,74%) response. Games can develop vocabulary, accuracy and pronunciation. The result of interview, games helped the students not only on how to learn with fun, but also on how to be motivated in speaking English.</note>
