<note>This research investigates the use of video in listening lesson. listening refers to the ability to use conversation video. This research conducted based on the statement of problem,1) How is the students listening skill before and after video at the second grade of MTs Ashabul Maimanah Kab. Serang? 2) How is the Effectiveness of using video listening subject at the second grade of MTs Ashabul Maimanah Kab. Serang?. Method used for this research is experimental which two classes, called experiment and control class using pre-test and post-test technique. This research involves 60 students’ as sample among the 8th grade of MTs Ashabul Maimanah Kab. Serang. Based on the result, the researcher got the average score of pre-test was 43.96 and average score of post-test was 47.96 from control class, while from experimental class the average of pre-test score was 56.26 and the average score of post-test was 67.13. The result shows that the value of to 6.565 is higher than the value of ttable is 2.001, the result was accepted. This research shows that the students’ listening use video achieved better performance than those who did not use listening video strategy.</note>
