<note>This research in conducted to investigate an analysis students’ speaking anxiety in storytelling at MA Kulni Cikande. The reseach is conducted based on some problems: 1) To what extent mostly are students anxiety in storytelling of students at 10th grade MA Kulni Cikande? 2) What are the levels anxiety at 10th grade MA Kulni Cikande? 3) What are the causes of students anxiety in storytelling at 10th grade MA Kulni Cikande?. The researcher collected data from 30 students. The data were collected using FLCAS (Foreign Language Anxiety Scale) questionnaire. The result was analyzed using FLCAS procedure and then researcher presented the data description in percentage, chart and table. The result showed that from ninety students in the first grade, most of them (58%) had medium level of anxiety in speaking. These students tend to have indecisive perceptions regarding their feelings when they are asked to express their opinions regarding communicating in English meetings. Another findings result indicated that 40% of the learners experienced low anxiety and only 2% experienced high anxiety. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the practice of speaking English as Foreign Language in the class could make a lot of foreign language students felt nervous and tense so that they could not do their best in speaking class. Anxiety could affect students’ speaking performance and achievements in the class negatively. It is important for the teacher to provide their learners some ways to cope with their anxiety and make the students more comfortable in learning process.</note>
