<note>Ahmad Saepudin. 152301830. Students’ Writing Process in Producing Recount Text (A case study at fourth semester students of English Education Department UIN SMH BANTEN). The paper of English Education Department at Faculty of Education and Teachers Training of State Islamic University Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten, 2018/2019. This research was based on the students’ writing process in producing a recount text. This research used a case study and it was conducted base on three main problems, 1) Do students of fourth semester of English Education Department know about the theory of writing process?, 2) Do students of fourth semester of English Education Department apply the theory of writing process? 3) What are the strategies that student do to apply the theory of writing process in producing a recount text?. The researcher used test and interview to collect the data. The researcher collected data from 4 students who represented each class with the same lecturer as samples of this research at the fourth semester students of English Education Department. The result of this research showed that actually students applied the process of writing in producing recount text without their awareness. As for the process of writing they done in producing a recount text were: pre writing, choosing ideas and revising. And the processes they did not do in producing a recount text were: outlining, drafting and editing. This research is still far from perfection, to find out more about students’ writing process in writing recount text, further research is needed. Keywords: Process of Writing, Recount Text.</note>
