<note>Fitri Indah Sari. 152301782. 2019. The Use of Snakes And Ladders Game To Improve Students’ Speaking Skill. (An Action Research at VII Grade of Mts AlKhairiyah Pontang, Kab. Serang – Banten in Academic Year 2018/2019) This research used the Classroom Acting Method (CAR). It aimed to know how students’ speaking skill improved through the snakes and ladders games media. The subject of this research was VII-A grade students of MTs Al-Khairiyah Pontang in Academic Year 2018/2019. This research was conducted in two cycles which each cycle consisted from 4 step, they are planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The data gathered through quantitative and qualitative data. The result of this research is Snakes and Ladders game can improve students’ speaking skill. It can be seen from the score they have got. Based on the result of the data analysis, we can see an improvement from pre-cycle to cycle. In the pre-cycle (first test), the mean score of students is 44.26 and there are no students who get a score &#62;75. While in the cycle I (second test), the mean score of students is 64,26 and the number of students who got score &#62;75 is 5. The next increase occurred in the cycle II (last test), the mean of students is 75,48 and there were 20 students who got score &#62;75.
