Teacher ‟ P ractice in Authentic Assessment, the research is conducted based on the problem of: 1) How is teacher ‟ practice in authentic reading assessment? 2) What are the strategies of teachers‟ practice in authentic reading assessment? in reference to the from mentioned research problem, this research is aimed at: 1) To know Teacher ‟ practice in authentic reading assessment. 2) To know the strategies of teachers‟ practice in authentic reading assessment. In this case the writer uses case study. Case study is one of type qualitative method. The subject of this resear ch is the teacher from MA Al - Ra hmah. The sample was 1 teacher , this resear ch conducted with two meetings. Te chnique of data coll ecting by observation and documentation Based on the result of the research, the researcher concluded th at the teacher in M A is good, it can be seen from the instruments. As like fr om data observation the teacher from MA Al - Rahmah example in the first meeting the teacher was divide the students into three group, every group consist nine person, and the teacher giving them task of text in different texts, and instruct them to read aloud by standing while the reading. The teacher assess dire ctly reading assessment to the object using approaching individually. It was called performance assessment . In the second meeting the teacher giving instruction to the learner looking for the vocabulary, which is they do not know the meaning and pronunciat ion. The teacher assess the students study in group and how they can be able to interest condition of discuss.
