This  research  investigates  “The  Effectiveness  Of  Power  Point  Presentation  In 
Teaching  Speaking  Skill  (An  Experimental  Resear
ch  at  The  Tenth  Grade  of  SMAN  1 
Ciruas).. The research is conducted based on the main problems: (1). How is the students skill 
in  speaking  at  the  Tenth  grade  students  of  SMAN  1  Ciruas  Kab.  Serang?(2)  How  is  the 
effectiveness of PowerPoint Presentation in t
eaching students speaking skill SMAN 1 Ciruas 
Kab. Serang? This research oriented to the following aims; (1). To Know the students skill in 
speaking  at  the  Tenth  grade  students  of  SMAN  1  Ciruas  Kab.  Serang?(2).  To  Know  the 
effectiveness of PowerPoint Prese
ntation in teaching students speaking skill SMAN 1 Ciruas 
Kab.  Serang?  To  answer  question,  the  writer  collect  data  from  38  students  spread  in  two 
classes,  one  class  as  the  experimental  class  and  another  one  is  as  the  control  class,  by 
applying  experimental
research  method.  The  researcher  chooses  two  classes  as  a  sample 
while class X A is experimental method and class X B as the control class. Since the research 
uses  experimental  method,  the  data  is  gathered  through  pre
-
test  and  post
-
test.  The  result  of 
the 
research  show  that  the  hypothesis,  that  the  null  hypothesis  is  rejected  its  shown  from 
statistical value that significant 5% = 2,01 and significant of 1% = 2,68 and the result of t0 =
