This research investigates how students learn vocabulary by using animal cartoon picture, specifically written on the tittle of this research paper "Using Animal Cartoon Picture" Lion and Mouse" To Improve Students Vocabulary (An Experiment Research at Second grade of SMP AL-Irsyad)". The research is conducted based on the statement of problems: 1) How is the students vocabulary mastery at SMP AL-Irsyad? 2) How is the effectiveness of using animal cartoon picture to improving students vocabularies at the second grade of SMP AL-Irsyad? This research oriented to the following aims: 1) To explore students vocabulary mastery at SMP AL-Irsyad. 2) To find out the effectiveness of animal cartoon picture on students' vocabulary at second grade of SMP AL-Irsyad.
