Reading comprehension relates to understanding and thinking process to get the message from the reading materials. As the result, the students often get difficulties in comprehending the reading text especially in descriptive text. Because of it many students can't achieve the Minimum of Completion Criteria (KKM), as like students at the first grade of MTS AL-Khairiyah Pabuaran Serang. This research is conducted for improving students reading comprehension in descriptive text through experience-text-relationship (ETR) method at the first grade of MTS AL-Khairiyah Pabuaran Serang in academic year 2014/2015.</note>
